Volunteer as part of a disability snooker Open Day and Down's syndrome snooker festival.

You will be part of a team running a snooker event for disabled players.

The Open Day will be aimed at players with physical impairments and learning disabilities, who will receive free coaching and practice time.

The day will also include a Down's syndrome festival in conjunction with DSActive, a national organisation. Lots of local groups will be coming in for the day.

Volunteers will help to coordinate these fantastic groups and support the activities in an enjoyable atmosphere.

Hazel Grove Snooker Club, SK75EN

A free buffet lunch on the Friday. Refreshments also offered. Always a fun experience. A Free training workshop on the preceding Thursday evening for those interested, though this is not essential.

No formal qualifications required. Approachability and confidence to meet and greet new people. Good English and lots of enthusiasm.

You can reach the venue via the M60 and A6, or by train to Hazel Grove train station.
